Dr. Elizabeth Polak

Dr. Elizabeth Polak recently joined Annapolis Periodontics. Dr. Polak received her Bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University in Psychology and studied abroad in New Zealand. She attended dental school at Midwestern University-Glendale, Arizona campus on behalf of a U.S. Navy Health Professions Scholarship. Dr. Polak was part of the inaugural graduating class of 2012. After dental school, she furthered her education and clinical experience by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Naval Hospital Balboa in San Diego. She served as a general dentist while stationed at Marine Corp bases in South Carolina and Hawaii. During this time, she was selected to the prestigious Naval Post Graduated Dental School at Walter Reed in Bethesda. After residency, she treated both active duty and veteran communities at the Federal Health Care Center VA Hospital in Great Lakes, Illinois. After serving 10 years of active duty, Dr. Polak has joined the premier periodontal practice of Annapolis Periodontics while continuing to serve in the Navy Reserves. She brings her expertise as a board certified Periodontist by the American Board of Periodontology with specialized training in Laser Therapy (LANAP) and Wilkodontics.
